To reach Lakshadweep one has to take a flight from Cochin (Kochi) in Kerala to Agatti Island. The airport are facilitated with helicopters that allow only up to 10-kg baggage weight per person. Other mode of transport is sea voyage The government tourist department operates cruises from Cochin to all the islands that are open to tourists.
